Short Stories

1. The Day That Isn’t Yours : This story originated 4 years ago based on an idea that later “borrowed” from the movie “The Truman Show” and the sci-fi film “Millenium” (not to be confused with the fantastic Chris Carter tv series) . Guy can’t seem to get to work as he always passes out before his bus ride ends. As each day progresses his travelling companions from the bus stop keep dropping ideas about what is really going on and the reason he can’t seem to stay awake on the bus ride. Its a short story at 5000 words and I am in the process of polishing it up for publication. Look for the category “The Day That Isn’t Yours” on this site.

2. The Beatuy of Static : Ten years in the making and written in my early 20s, the story is about three post-college friends who meet up after all moving back home to their tiny town. One day while sneaking off to drink a bottle of absinthe, they befriend a strange girl who keeps repeating the word “static” and causes electronics to shorten out wherever she goes. 3. Uncle Bruce vs Vampires : Based on an actual relative, minus the were-changing abilities, it is a story of Uncle Bruce who was a B-Movie star in the 1960s with a special ability to become a werewolf. When his niece and her family dropped him off at a horror convention, Uncle Bruce’s last words before exiting the car was, “Don’t wait up.” It seems that Uncle Bruce wants to settle a score with an acting rival who has a knack for blood.
